GOLDEN WEDDING - 16th September 2011
Congratulations to Margaret Hyslop and James McColm on their 50th wedding anniversary.                                                              
Photo taken at Kirkcowan Parish Church in the 1950s when Margaret was bridesmaid to the late Jean Stewart from West Crosherie who married the late Andrew Adams. The wedding was a double wedding with Jean's late sister Agnes who married the late Thomas McWhirter.                                                       
Margaret and James were married in Kirkcowan Parish Church on 16th September 1961.
Margaret lived at Balgreen Farm with her family. The couple now live near Girvan and are now great grandparents.

Congratulations to Molly Bruce who has attained a Master of Science degree with merit in forensic psychology from Glasgow Caledonian University after completing a BSC (hons) degree in psychology at the same university.
Molly was educated at Kirkcowan Primary School and at the Douglas Ewart High School in Newton Stewart.
